Cosanta helps companies to make an inventory of, prioritise and evaluate their risks in a structured way and draw up an appropriate plan of action or management. The Cosanta online tool translates abstract law and legislation into tangible measures that are constantly updated in line with the latest insights and regulations.
Up-to-date substances policy
Changes in law and legislation, in the workplace and in product compositions demand constant attention to the management of hazardous substances. The tool is now employed by around 30,000 users in the Netherlands and beyond as an aid to managing the risks of working with hazardous substances. Using Workplace Instruction Cards (WIC’s) and instruction films, companies can instruct their employees about the health risks of the substances with which they work.
Stoffenmanager® is accepted by the Inspectorate of the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (SZW) as a quantitative method of determining and managing the risks of working with hazardous substances.
Stoffenmanager® is recognised by ECHA (REACH) and recommended in the REACH Guidance, the European regulation on the production and trade of chemical substances.
